According to my first tests those high numbers of files are not handled well.
ESXi 7 fails to list the content of a datastore way before you reach the new limits.

VMFS-L的全程是VMFS Local，主要是为VSAN准备的一个文件系统，

VMFS-L是VSAN-1.0的基础文件系统。 叶级VSAN对象直接驻留在由服务器端直接连接存储（DAS）组成的VMFS-L卷上。 文件系统格式针对DAS进行了优化。 优化包括针对DAS用例的主动缓存，剥离的锁定管理器和更快的格式。

大约两年前，VMware收购了一家存储管理程序公司Virsto。 从那时起，VMware剥离了对Hyper-V的支持，并将VirstoFS移植到了vSphere中。 这可能是VMware表示他们已准备好进行Tier-1的原因之一。 新的” VSAN FS”（我也看过” VMFS-L”）在其前身的基础上提供了一些可扩展性和功能改进。

笔者安装好vSphere 7.0 Bet后，调整了硬盘到200G，才显示存储。

可是笔者明明是200G，怎么主页显示成70G了呢？带着这个问题，笔者进行了一番探索。

首先笔者进入设备里面的LocalDisk，

看到了磁盘分区图，VMFS分区容量和我们显示的一致，有一个VMFSL的分区，占用了我们120G的空间。这个VMFSL是什么呢？

总结一下，VMFS-L 应该文件系统类型，但是VMFS-L 版本不一样。

This VMFSL is total disk size which is allocated for ESXi to install which can't be change or delete. Even, you can't resize the partition.If you are looking to use small size disk then you can use SD card with 16 GB or 32 GB for ESXi. If need more info contact to VMware support.

vMFSL VMFS是什么区别，为什么安装完直接把VMFSL强行划去了120G，能建立 虚机的空间只有120GB以后的了。
