概述
2009年4月，Check Point完成收购诺基亚的安全设备业务。作为与诺基亚集成的一部分，Check Point现在向客户提供各种安全网关，其中包括新的集成IP设备。这些安全网关作为单独的SKU设备由Check Point推出，并受Check Point支持，与最新的Check Point软件集成。
在引入新的集成IP设备系列的同时，Check Point还开始支持两个独立的专用平台，它们包括SecurePlatform 和IPSO 操作系统（OS）。为了简化管理并使性能和安全性实现最大化，Check Point已开始推出盖亚计划（Project Gaia），以统一这两个市场领先的操作系统，并提供单独、一致的网络安全操作系统。
Project Gaia 将提供:

单独、统一的网络安全操作系统，该操作系统利用两个平台的最佳优点来提高运行效率，并降低复杂程度。

关于Check Point SecurePlatform
SecurePlatform 将设备的简化性和内置安全性与开放式服务器的灵活性完美结合。利用SecurePlatform, 客户可在不到5分钟的时间内，将基于Intel或AMD的开放式服务器转化为预硬化（pre-hardened）的安全设备。SecurePlatform同时也是Check Point UTM-1、Power-1、Smart-1、VSX-1、IPS-1和Connectra设备的基础。
关于Check Point IPSO
Check Point IP设备系列的核心为IPSO，这是一种特别设计的安全操作系统。Check Point IPSO凭借高级的网络、监控和诊断功能，以同类最佳的可扩展安全性，继续为满足客户需求而不懈努力。

2009年4月份，Check Point完成了Nokia安全设备业务的收购。做为整合Nokia的一部分，Check Point现在为客户提供了一系列集成全新IP设备的安全网关。作为单一SKU设备，可以获取Check Point的支持并且得到完整的最新Check Point软件产品。

非Linux平台
voyager：诺基亚的设备的后台管理界面，类似于Splat的web的管理
clish shell：类似于现在的cp的后台命令行界面
routing engine：路由引擎

Other than that project Gaia was the other big thing for me. It will be based off linux, and will have voyager, clish shell, and routing engine from the old IPSO ported over to SPLAT. The beta release should be this summer. The routing engine and IPv6 will be 18 months out.
